Chateau Racing

La Sapinière

Get closer to the action!

Looking forward to our twelfth season of hosting racing enthusiasts from all over the world!

Enjoy authentic French horseracing and eventing courtesy of Chateau Racing´s tailor-made racing breaks. Chateau Racing are market leaders for provincial French horseracing holidays, offering a host of exciting and unique racing opportunities in 2019!

We offer short and medium breaks at Châteaubriant, in the stunning Loire Valley, at our country residence, "La Sapiniere", a glorious property set in 6 acres of historic gardens.

From our carefully chosen location, we also offer access to over 50 racecourses and 350 meetings a year, where one will find French horseracing in its purest form and enjoyed in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our guests have been treated to some of the sport´s biggest equine stars, all in our region where the likes of Kauto StarSire de Grugy and Douvan were discovered.

If you have a week´s holiday, a free weekend or a few spare days up your sleeve, we can design the break for you; we even offer free tutorials on how to bet at French racecourses for beginners! We take care of everything, right down to helping you choose a restaurant for a relaxing evening meal after a day´s racing, so don´t let the language barrier intimidate you! All you have to do is select the wine!

The management of Chateau Racing can count on nearly 2 decades of ownership and syndication of race horses coupled with 32 years of catering experience. We feel we are well placed to compare and comment on what makes a great day out at the races. We have tried racing in the UK both as owners and racegoers and we´re tired of escalating prices, loutish behaviour and shrinking prize money and we´re convinced that there are many like-minded racing people out there, so our message is simple: Come and join us!

At Chateau Racing we are certain our French horseracing experiences are truly "horse racing as it should be", and we´re confident that you´ll agree.
